BiOBUDDi Baseplates 32x32 baseplate brown BB-0095 Caramel Brown

The world's first toy baseplate made from plant-based material. The toy baseplate has exactly the same size and functionality as the baseplates from other well-known brands. The big difference lies in the material; existing brands still largely make their toy blocks and baseplates from ABS plastic. ABS plastic is derived from petroleum and is very polluting during production. Also, ABS plastic is not easily recycled and discarded ABS is burned in an incinerator. For years, this has resulted in unprecedented CO2 emissions. The BiOBUDDi toy baseplate is not made from an oil-based raw material, but from our patented BiOBUDDi plant-based material.

The entire production process of the toy baseplate is therefore CO2 neutral, and the material is just as durable in use as the plates from other well-known brands. The best part of the BiOBUDDi material is that it can also be reused, which is already happening, and if it is eventually incinerated, it also has a positive CO2 footprint. The plates are all exactly the same size: 25 * 25 cm. The plates can be used with larger BiOBUDDi blocks and with smaller blocks from well-known brands.
